Burglary Near You - Woodside Road BD12

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live near the location of a burglary that occurred on Saturday 11th April between 0147hrs-0247hrs.

During the time stated, unknown suspect(s) entered the garden of the property through a rear gate. They then forced entry into a garage via the side door and stole power tools. Entry was gained by snapping a cylinder door lock.

How you can help:

If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check any footage from Saturday 11th April between 0130hrs and 0245hrs for anything suspicious.

Home security advice:

If your property has cylinder locks (commonly found on uPVC or composite doors), please take a moment to check that they are secure and correctly fitted.

We recommend 3‑star rated anti‑snap locks, which are marked with three stars on the front and are TS007 or SS312 rated. These locks are widely available from many suppliers.

While we do not wish to cause alarm, this is a good opportunity to review your home security and remain vigilant. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the police.
